Summer Camp COVID-19 Guidelines

Summer Camp COVID-19 Guidelines

Handwashing and Face Coverings

  • Cloth Face coverings must be worn by anyone under the age of 12 and anyone OVER the age of 12 that is not vaccinated when social distancing is not possible.
  • Individuals must regularly wash their hands. Signs will be placed in restroom facilities encouraging campers and staff to wash hands for 20 seconds with soap and water.
  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available to both campers and staff.

Cleaning

  • All surfaces will be regularly disinfected (daily) using EPA listed supplies.
  • High contact surfaces, including, but not limited to doorknobs, light switches, and railings will be cleaned twice throughout the day.
  • Facility will be cleaned and disinfected daily.

Employees and Camper Screening

  • Individuals must remain home when sick.
  • Employees will be required to complete a personal, daily health check.

Social Distancing

  • Social distancing must be in place whenever possible.
  • Social distancing will be implemented throughout the camp including, but not limited to: on stage performance, backstage space, dressing rooms, lunch area, and craft area whenever possible. Face coverings will be worn when this is not possible.

Camp Specific Guidelines

  • Camp size will be limited to 15 campers (unless larger groups are allowed by state guidelines).
  • Staff will consist of the same 3-5 instructors for the entire session.
  • Pick up and drop off: A counselor will come out to your car to retrieve your camper. Upon arrival for pick up, you will text our camp administrator and they will bring your camper out to your car.
  • Campers will not share crafts or activity supplies – they will each be given their own items to use that will be disinfected each day after use.
  • Lunches must be brought in personal coolers if they need to remain cool. We will not be placing these into a group refrigerator. Campers will be placing their lunches in their lunch spot so that they are not handled by anyone else.
  • Please make sure campers are well supplied with water. You may pre-purchase a concession credit for additional snacks and water bottles. (no sodas will be sold to campers)

General Guidance

  • Signs will be posted in regards to properly wearing a cloth face covering, social distancing, hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes, and to stay at home if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
  • There will be no touch entry and exit of the building and all rooms being used during the camp day.Â
