Riley is a Middle Schooler at Cantwells Bridge Middle School. She has been on the Youth Board since 2021! She has a Guinea Pig named Peppa. She has done over 20 shows at the Griffin! She would like to thank everybody at the theatre for all the amazing work and opportunities :)!

Luke is 10 years old and attends Red Lion. He is very excited to be on the youth board. He loves acting and started when he was only 6 years old. In his spare time you will find him playing video games and playing his trombone. He is looking forward to continuing to do more shows with the Griffin and be an active member of the board.

Nilah is 12 years old and is now in the 6th grade. Out of all of the activities she love doing, shows at the griffin are by far #1 on her list. Nilah also loves her piano lessons with Mrs. Bailey at the Griffin.  Nilah is very thankful for the griffin and everyone in it!

Logan is 12 years old and is a 7th grader at Newark Charter School. She loves being part of the Griffin Theatre. Logan has participated in several productions and does voice lessons at the Griffin. She is excited to serve on the youth board and to help the Griffin grow. When not at the theatre she likes creating art, spending time with friends, reading, and cuddling with her dogs.

Talula is 12 years old and a 7th grader at St. John the Beloved School. She loves being part of the Griffin Theater family and is excited to be on the youth board again this year. She’s enjoyed being a part of the plays here, especially playing villains such as Jafar and Shere Khan. Besides theater she is passionate about being creative and loves recognizing the creativity of others.

Kinlee is 11 years old and this fall she will be in 6th grade at Cab Calloway as a Voice Major. Kinlee has been part of the Griffin for a year now, in that year she has performed in over 5 shows and she has done stage crew for 2 shows. She recently started voice lessons at Griffin as well. She loves learning and being involved in every aspect of the theater. Kinlee is so excited to now be involved in the Youth Board, she can’t wait to work with some of her best friends to help support the theater and learn yet another aspect of how things work. Kinlee is so happy to be part of the Griffin Family and has felt so welcomed and loved since day one.

Energy, Enthusiasm and Passion are the three best words that can describe Greysen Luongo, one of the Griffin Theatre’s young performers. At age 9 Greysen has been involved with the Griffin Theatre for the past three years and is always eager to support every opportunity to continue the Griffin’s mission moving forward. As a novice first time performer Greysen really didn’t really know what to expect as he joined the theatre for the first time. From day one at the Griffin, Greysen was made to feel welcome, supported and encouraged by all the members of the theatre, its staff and cast. Greysen continues to develop lasting friendships and has worked hard at developing the foundation for his performing arts future. He’s involved in both piano and voice lessons offered by the Griffin while participating in chorus and band at Wilbur Elementary School.

Abby is ten years old and is going into 5th grade at Holy Cross School. She is excited to be part of the Griffin Theatre Family. Abby has been in many productions including Beauty and the Beast Jr., Aladdin Jr., Mary Poppins, Shrek the Musical, and the Little Mermaid. Her confidence has grown tremendously because of the theatre and wants to pay it forward. She looks forward to helping the Griffin Theatre grow as a member of the Youth Board. When not acting, Abby can be found drawing, playing with her sister, playing games with her friends, and watching movies.

Tova Marmon is a 5th grader at Newark Charter School and loves acting, dancing, ice skating and soccer! She loves the Griffin Theater and is very excited to be a part of the youth board! Tova is looking to another fun season with the theater and is excited to be a part of all the projects the youth board has to offer!

Elise is 9 years old and is in the 4th grade at North Star Elementary. In a short time Elise has learned so much from the Griffin Theatre and the Griffin Music and Arts Studio.  Elise has decided that theater and acting is her thing and wants to learn and  to be involved in any way she can.  When she is not rehearsing Elise can be found reading or watching her favorite movies or baking shows over and over.

Aaron is excited to be a part of the Griffin Theatre youth board. Aaron got involved in theatre because he looks up to his big brother and loves to be involved in all of the things with him. Aaron is 8 years old, but his first camp/show was when he was 6. Since then, Aaron’s confidence has grown, and now he is doing it because it is something he loves, not just because it’s something his brother does. Aaron is passionate about contributing to the place that feels like another family. He is excited to be on the youth board, to have the opportunity to help the theatre grow. When Aaron is not at the theatre, he is usually playing with his siblings, or building with legos. Aaron is a kind, HUGE hearted kiddo, and loves everyone that he meets.
