Auditions will be held by VIDEO SUBMISSION ONLY.
Auditions are for Miscast Cabaret, 13 the Musical, and The Lightning Thief.

🎥 Video auditions are due by Monday, May 11 at 8:30 PM.
📅 Callbacks (if needed) will be held on: Monday, May 18 for 13 the Musical and Wednesday, June 3 for The Lightning Thief. We do not hold callbacks for cabarets.

For auditions:
Please submit 16–32 bars of a Broadway song in the style of the show. We highly encourage you to use a backing track without vocals for your audition. We do not encourage a cappella auditions.

🚫 Please note: We do not accept any tech week conflicts (this is the week leading up to the show, beginning the Sunday before), show conflicts, or brush-up rehearsal conflicts.

Join us for one of our FAVORITE cabarets! This is your chance to sing the roles you've always wanted but can't actually ever play because you're the wrong age, gender, etc. Are you 40 but want to belt out "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow" or are you a girl that wants to sing "Waving Through a Window?" Now you can! Grownups that want to perform "Revolting Children?" This is your cabaret! Join us and have SO MUCH FUN!

A hilarious, coming-of-age musical about discovering that "cool" is sometimes where we least expect it. Geek. Poser. Jock. Beauty Queen. Wannabe. These are labels that can last a lifetime. With an unforgettable rock score from Tony Award-winning composer, Jason Robert Brown, 13 is a musical about fitting in and standing out! All characters in the show are 13, but the emotions they explore are timeless and the laughter and the memories they provide are priceless.



Roles:

Evan - A bright, nerdy boy who is excited to become a man. New in town and trying to find a place to fit in, he eventually becomes close with Patrice and Archie. Our story's protagonist. (Gender: Male presenting. Range: Bb2-Bb4)

Patrice - A shy, intelligent bookworm. Archie's best friend and Evan's new friend. (Gender: Female presenting. Range: Eb3-E5)

Archie - A good-humored, intelligent, unpopular kid. Patrice's best friend who has to use crutches. (Gender: Male presenting. Range: Ab2-Bb4)

Brett - The vain star quarterback. Leads a pack of popular boys, including Malcolm and Eddie. (Gender: Male presenting. Range: Bb2-C5)

Kendra - The bubbly, popular, head cheerleader. Lucy's best friend and unknowing rival. (Gender: Female presenting. Range: Bb3-D5)

Lucy - A manipulative girl who secretly desires to have Kendra's boyfriend. Sneaky and feisty. (Gender: Female presenting. Range: F#3-D5)

Eddie - A wannabe popular kid and one of Brett's sidekicks. (Gender: Any. Range: Bb2-C5)

Malcolm - A wannabe popular kid and one of Brett's sidekicks. (Gender: Any. Range: F#3-C5)

Simon - Part of Brett's entourage. (Gender: Any. Range: Bb3-E5)

Richie - Part of Brett's entourage. (Gender: Any. Range: Bb3-B4)

Cassie - A cheerleader. (Gender: Female presenting. Range: Bb3-C5)

Charlotte - A cheerleader. (Gender: Female presenting. Range: C4-F5)

Molly - One of the girls at school and quick to defer to Lucy. She is happy to gossip about the drama, though she's never quite in the middle of any of it. (Gender: Female presenting. Range: F#3-C#5)
